I go to Harvard Law. Acceptances were mailed out in November-March. The real FML is that you had to lie just to have something on here.
Wow....... lot of pots calling the kettle black. I'm no ivy league student, but I'm definitely no American Idol fan. Even if you had gotten into a community college, your parents should have been raving. The question is, what school did your parents go to, if any? How the hell is everyone assuming when he got his acceptance letter or when he told his family? how do you figure that he didn't tell them this seconds before Idol convo began? If you were my best friend or significant other, MY family would be raving about you getting into Hahhhhhhvaaaad. Give it some time. They might be talking about Idol now, but your acceptance will eventually get back into the discussion. When I got accepted to the school of my choice (not giving any of you a-holes the opportunity to call me a pretentious bastard), my family kept asking me about getting them free game tickets. Not the best response, but I knew this was their way of saying congrats.
This just makes you sound arrogant. YDI.
I think the point was their warped set a of values. #54, if it makes it easier to imagine his disgust, imagine you had got accepted to Imperial in London for a medical degree, and your parents just wanted to talk about reality tv.
I agree with #5 College is overrated.
Keywords
"prestigious, right?" kinda killed it.
at least you got into Harvard
