This. This is more of a morality issue than a legal issue. I didn't take it word for word (even though that's hard to do since it's a video game and not a book), I just used the concept.

You should've said "I've played so many video games that I pretty much have the same ideas as others. And that is why I want to be in the video game business." I mean, its not fully a lie.
Dude, how hard was it to "imagine" what the earth would be like in 500 years. You didnt need to rip off from that game... You literally could have IMAGINED anything. Alien takeover, 3 people only left alive, people moved to another planet, total war, no one's here... Jesus man endless possibilities really...Be creative... Not a thief
Hmm.. Total war, alien invasion, people moved to another planet. Sounds like the Mass Effect 3 to me...
Dude winning I been basing all my essays of games and star wars since like grade School and I'm in the top 18% in college so you'll do fine
Did you at least give it a better ending?
Did you write about the Reapers or include different colored conclusions?
Not a bad choice of sci-fi to rip off, if I must say so. I did once have to completely rip off a Halo story for an English assignment, but it was an obscure part of the canon that nobody outside the hardcore fanbase or Bungie would have recognized. And it got an A.
I certainly hope you gave it a different ending.
That's pretty awesome actually!

Mass Effect is the best inspiration hahah~
I hope you put your own twist on it and didn't write just about how the game is, exactly. :|
