What happened was when we were told to wave the phones in the air I flung my arm up a bit too fast and my phone flew out of my hand and this "huge woman" (in talking morbidly obese, bundles me out of the way and snatched my phone from the air. I never saw her or the phone again...

If you knew what she looked like you could have have probably reported her to the guards nearby (assuming there were some) and if they saw her they could stop her. It's a bit too late for that now, I guess. Sorry OP, I'd hate it if that happened to me too, especially considering what I keep on there O.O

#45, I think because OP was at a concert, and the area they were in was congested, OP lost sight on the woman.
If you have an iPhone specifically, Google Find my iPhone, or use another Apple device that has the find my iPhone app (signed into your account). You can locate it and when its location comes up, call the police to report a theft. Just don't tell it to make a noise; that could prompt her or whomever has it to delete the device. Good luck!

You do realize......Apple has an app...... Labeled "utilities"..... Called find my iPhone?
Did you try the "find my phone" option op?

well there's a lesson you need to install the app that will let you find your phone and or disable it and reset it lard woman probably isn't bright enough to figure that out did you call your service provider and ask them to disable your phone

Borrow someone's iPhone and use the find my phone app/feature. It will track it down to a couple of hundred yards. Then call it (not much use at a concert, but after). If that doesn't work, brick it. If it has the latest updates (as in one of the last 4), you can remotely wipe it. It then can't be restored or reassigned to another person without your Apple ID. Hence, brick it. Because that's all it will be good for.
There is such a thing called find my iPhone through iCloud...
Hey OP! Similar thing happened to a friend. She left it at the mall, slipped out of her pocket without her noticing. She used the "find my iPhone" app and got it back really quickly! She found. The address the iPhone was in, and called the cops to report a theft. Then she showed up at the guys house and took it back because the cops didn't do shit
Hopefully you have find my iphone. If not someone just upgraded.
