Today, I was at a mall. A woman stopped by me, said slowly and loudly, in Spanish "baño?" Knowing a bit of Spanish, I nodded and pointed the restrooms out for her. She then mutters about "dang Mexicans and their inability to speak English". I'm not even Latina. I'm Irish-American. FML

If I were you, I would yell in English: Dang Americas jumping to conclusions...

She seems a bit racist. Absolute frickin walnut she is.

You should've said "Actually, I'm Irish-American. And not only were you being racist, but you were also the wrong kind of racist."

ppl like that just try to feel better about themselves by putting others down, and when they have nothing else to hold on to they go for ethnicity/religion or general "appropriateness". The funny part here is there is no American race (except for Native Americans of course) - it consists of almost (just saying "almost" idk why) all other ethnicities, the Irish being there from the start.

I would've looked right at her as she turned around and loudly told her "you're welcome you ******* bitch" in clear enunciated English.
