Today, I was at the park when I saw a homeless man sleeping on a bench. I thought it would be funny to throw a small rock at him. He thought it would be funny to pull out his knife and chase me for six blocks. FML

WOW at all the comments here, I thought you guys were all joking saying he deserved it but after going through all of them I think its safe to say you were all being serious. The OP threw a SMALL rock at a homeless guy, I used to throw HANDFULS of small rocks at my friends while on the playground when i was small, those things dont even hurt at all and if you do get hurt by them then you should thank the person who threw it since they opened your damn eyes to see how pathetic and weak of a person you are. It is funny how you are all saying "youre a horrible person OP i hope he caught you and stabbed you", i laugh at how ****** your guys logic is, you say throwing a rock at someone is bad but stabbing someone is ok? The real horrible ones in this case are all the people with ****** up comments. The OP made a mistake and was just playing a little joke (anybody who gets hurt by a small rock is just pathetic), IT IS NOT OK TO RETALIATE BY TRYING TO KILL HIM, all you people commenting are the scum of the earth.

You are such a ******* dumbass. It's not that the rock would have hurt the homeless man, it's that the OP threw it to establish his supposed "superiority". Try to open that simple little brain of yours and think a little next time instead of broadcasting your stupidity to the world. And as for the OP, good job making a human being down on his luck feel even worse about himself. You think you're better than the homeless man? The fact that you would throw rocks at another human being because you think your social status sits above his just proves that you're no better than someone who skins animals for fur. Why do you think he chased you with a knife? He probably gets that all the time from snobs in the area. Maybe not rock-throwing, but certainly dirty looks and people going out of their way to avoid him. He's a human being like you. How is he any different than a lost puppy or stray (without trying to compare him to an animal of course)? It disappoints a lot of people here that the homeless man didn't catch you and run you through with his knife. Regardless, karma will probably do to you what the homeless man couldn't.

#263, I would like to think you were smart, but you obviously are not. You wouldn't throw a "small rock" at a stranger, would you? So why throw it at the homeless dude, who the OP obviously doesn't know? Because OP is a condescending asshole, and obviously you are too. If you do that to any stranger, you're just asking for it. If you're doing it to a hobo, you're really asking for it. Many homeless people are mentally ill (they can't support themselves and the government doesn't come through for them). It's not about if the rock hurt him. Of course a pebble doesn't hurt. It really IS down to the basic things we learned as little kids "on the playground." Treat others as you would like to be treated.

haha that homeless was prolly waiting with that knife for an excuse to stab someone, cause then he'd be in jail where he'd get free food and a free place to sleep for years lol
