Today, I was at the park when I saw a homeless man sleeping on a bench. I thought it would be funny to throw a small rock at him. He thought it would be funny to pull out his knife and chase me for six blocks. FML

i really hope 170 is a troll. if he is, i also hope he learns soon that trolling is the product of people without enough guts or force of personality to take out their bitterness on people in the real world. if he isn't, i'm going to have something to amuse me for the next ten years every time i remember him and how his life must be failing so hard. 265- the OP wasn't playing a game or having a joke or anything WITH the homeless man. without a means to establish a joke -- ie, without any personal relationship -- you don't do something like throw rocks at people. under these circumstances i think it's pretty safe to assume he was doing it out of spiteful behaviour, to assert personal dominance and to bully through a lack of respect. the OP wouldn't have learned anything from having a rock thrown back at him. people like him are LOOKING for that kind of reaction, dontchaknow. they throw rocks because they want to provoke people. it's only once his shitty behaviour and lack of respect actually produces a reaction that has a detrimental effect on HIMSELF -- ie, being chased with a knife -- that he's likely to actually take some kind of lesson away from it. he was ALSO doing it because he thought he could get away with it, and people like that who abuse their power deserve to meet their downfall through the weaklings they abuse. OP, when you pick on people smaller than you just because you think you can get away with it, you deserve to have them retaliate with as much force as humanly possible. if he'd managed to cut your balls off you could have been nominated for a darwin award. the type of person you are is what's wrong with humanity
