Today, I was carrying my four-month-old son in a checkout line. An older couple behind us remarked that I would spoil my son if I carried him everywhere. My son responded by projectile vomiting all over the wife, then looked at me and giggled. FML

hi. OP here. I said FML because I ended up having to apologize and act as if I was sincere. I failed miserably and ended up laughing hysterically. I did feel a little bad.

I don't see how this is an FML for you, but it's funny. That couple deserved it, they should keep remarks like that to themselves.

He's four MONTHS old, so their comment was even worse.

Oh, god! I put years instead of months! Sorry, folks.

You can walk at four years old… the baby was four MONTHS old.

#73 I know a child can walk at four years. I just accidentally typed years instead of months. It was an honest mistake.

I originally misread the FML as four years, and while a 4 YEAR old can walk they get really tired after a long strenuous day, so even if it had been a four year old the older couple would've been wrong.

#135 That is also true. And holding a child is not spoiling.

People who give unsolicited parenting advice deserve to get baby puke on them.

Hope you told them that you'd apologize, but you didn't want to spoil them.

A thoroughly appropriate response by the kid. I realize that we Americans have the freedom of speech or what have you, but every now and then, people should bite their tongues and shut their ***** up.

Couth? They have next to none. Tact? Even less.

I accidently hit You Deserve It. I meant to hit They Deserve It. They should mind their own business. Hope you high fived your son.

Awesome timing. They were proberley from the stick your baby in a pram and leave them outside school of parenting.
