Today, I was casually looking through my girlfriend's phone while she got ready, though she made me promise not to. To my confusion, I discovered that she had me listed as 'Saturday' in her contacts. There was also a Thursday, Friday and Sunday listed. I only ever see her on Saturdays. FML

ouch. maybe you should dump her. looks pretty clear that she has other weekly hookups besides you. if you do though, don't mention the phone. otherwise, you'll be at fault and seem like the insensitive one to others.

wow. i would flip out if this happened to me. i think its fishy that she made you promise to NEVER go through her phone. its clear shes hiding something. that would make me want to look at it even more. i think its fairly normal to poke at your bf/gf's pics on their phone and such. its usually just their pets and pics of beer or something but it nice to see into their world. to know whats importent enough for them to take a pic of. and texting for them while their driving is fine too b/c its safer. to do all this you need to actually look at and use their phone. you shouldnt have to hide your phone from your partner. I dont think the OP did anything wrong, I prob. would have done the same. i dont think YDI at all, but your your life does suck.....im sorry OP I hope you work things out in a way that makes the situation less horrible. btw you should play a trick on her. tell her you have made reservations at the best place in the city for dinner......on a FRIDAY! =)
