Today, I was chaperoning for my 8-year-old sister's class in school. The bus ride was an hour long, so several people didn't make it to the bathroom in time. Unfortunately, one of them was me. FML

A whole hour?! my three year old can hold her bladder longer than that. did teachers not make them go potty before leaving?? it was always a requirement for us.

Several people peed themselves?? Doesn't seem quite right as they are 8 years old and should be able to hold it for an hour or more. And wouldn't there have been an opportunity to use the bathroom right before leaving?

An hour isn't long at all, and this is coming from a cross country/track athlete that needs to hydrate before races and I've had to go really bad, but I've never actually peed myself. In fact, no one in any of my teams has. During a race is a different story though.
