Today, I was chewed out by a lady who claimed the laptop she bought wouldn't turn on, and that she wanted a refund. She yelled and shoved the laptop at me, not even listening when I told her I didn't even work at that store. FML

If she is dumb enough not to realize you are not an employee I hardly doubt she is capable of figuring out a laptop

That's what I was thinking... I doubt the laptop is actually broken, she probably just can't figure it out. Also, this story should be on Not Always Right :P

Honestly, I'dve taken it and kept it. Free laptop. If you're returning something you should always go to a customer service desk, not just give it to a random person even if they are an employee.

you should have played along, told her she could walk out with with ANY laptop in the store, free of charge, then laugh your ass off when she gets tackled at the door and arrested!
