a similar thing happened to my mother when she was a kid. She was like, Mom, am I pretty? And my grandmother said, "...You're nice." I rofled when i heard the story. But hey. Being pretty on the inside is good.

I thought for a second it might be bitchy of me to post saying that YDI for being so whiny, thinking of your sister as the cause of your unhappiness and reason for your lack of self confidence, and also for putting your mother in such a position. After seeing so many others who thought exactly the same justified saying: you self-centred twit!! Get over this looks shit and get on with your life!!!

Not to beat a dead horse, because I'm sure that you've been reprimanded for fishing for compliments before this post. But really no one likes a compliment *****. I would, however like to offer you a little shinning ray of hope. I have two sisters, for the first 17 years of my life they were always more beautiful and thinner than I was. Then I learnt how to put on make up and dress properly and now I'm just as good looking as they are. You're already beautiful on the inside apparently which really is more important, no matter how cliche it is :)

well, im an unidentical twin but people always compare me and my sister, people say im the fat one, she is like a bean pole with a bmi of 18 and shes 5"8 im curvy with big boobs and a bmi of 22 , people assume im fat and unhealthy because im curvy and related to a beanpole wehn rly im perfectly healthy
