Today, I was messing with my cat by moving my hand around under the sheets to make it look like a mouse, making him pounce at it. Without thinking, I brought my hand up to scratch my nose and was immediately attacked by flailing claws. FML

I've done that with my cat too before and when I take it out of the sheet he still thinks that the 'mouse' is under the sheets :P

Not too bad. I have scars from my cat from 2 years ago. They would never go away. And I do that with my cat. Just use the other hand next time is a smarter idea. Hope you are ok
