I have a hedgehog... I know where you live... Let the games begin
OP, just had to tell you that you're not the only one - I'm terrified of them too and I've only ever met one other person who is. I could never have kept quiet, that was brave of you. Kudos and I hope you feel better!
Your alternative proposal is...? A box padded with paper - preferably enough that the hedgehog can hide - is a pretty harmless way to transport them. They're very small and don't need a lot of space for transit, and are probably better off without it so there's less risk of them taking a tumble if something goes wrong.
Grow a pair you big baby a hedgehog? Really? I've seen insects bigger than them
That's a very good way to find sleep.
I've had a hedgehog dropped on my crotch before. Through jeans. It's painful! Id consider that a weapon.
At least you put others before yourself. Go you!
Who would even come across the darn animal enough time to develop a phobia. You are totally weird, and man, i wonder what you would do if she got an explosive

That has to be the weirdest thing to have a phobia of!
I can't sleep now that I know there are people who don't report hedgehogs on planes.
