Today, I was putting a wooden shelf into my new TV stand. Right before I put it in, I rested it on my leg. I then realized that the wood was of poor quality, and it gave me splinters. Now, I can't remove the splinters, because I can't find their exact location under my really hairy legs. FML

Love #15's approach. Just rub some gasoline and sandpaper it out, be sure to use the coarse shit too.  Nair works wonders in situations like this. NOTE: If you shave you legs it will grow back bigger and way thicker then before. So either Nair it or use some clippers.

Actually, the thicker/darker thing is a myth. The hair may look that way, but that's just because shaving makes a blunt cut on the hair, and the same hair just grows out longer, like mown grass. Naturally lost (or waxed/tweezed) hairs grow back as a new, tapered hair, thus looking thinner and lighter. Gradients of color in the individual hair may also make a hair cut off mid-shaft look darker during further growth.
