Today, I was showing my unique new tattoo to my friends when a man approaches me with his digital camera and asks if he could take a picture of the tattoo for his website. I agreed. I find out later that it's a site about ugly tattoos. FML

Today, I was looking at tattoos and fell in love with a really cool looking one, so I decided to get it. I later showed it to a friend who is a cop. He informed me that it is a gang tattoo. I think I just put a target on my ankle. FML

Today, my brother saw my side when my shirt came up, and asked when I got a tattoo; the pink he saw was in fact my stretch marks. Worst of all, I had to show them to everyone to prove I didn't actually get a tattoo. FML

Today, I was getting my first tattoo done. My parents told me it was a bad idea. My friends' parents told me it was a bad idea. I told them that people get tattoos done all the time and nothing goes wrong. Fifty minutes into the tattoo on my back, the artist said, "Oh shit, shit, shit. We can fix this." FML

No, I heard that she fell asleep while getting that tattoo and when she woke up the tattoo artist did much more than she wanted him to. But I'm not sure. :/

Dude, as long as it has meaning or value to you it shouldn't matter what other people think. Sure, even if it isn't the prettiest tattoo in the world, if you like it, it's all good. But if one little thing from a random guy makes you regret having the tattoo, it wasn't worth getting in the first place.

Honestly, people who are saying YDI for getting a tattoo are ******* stupid. I'm sorry, but it's true. What's wrong with tattoos? They're not all trashy and they're not all stupid They're a good way to put something that means something to you out into the open it's a good way to express it like writing a song/poem or drawing something. Some people can't do that SO STOP BEING GODDAM DUMBASSED AND GET OVER IT

The fact that you're submitting this to fmylife.com suggests that you made a bad choice getting this particular tattoo. If you really liked it, you wouldn't have been so bothered by one creep who says it's ugly.
