Today, I went on a date with a really cute guy. Things were going great, so we went to his place. While he was in the bathroom, I absentmindedly looked around his apartment. Unfortunately, his living room cupboard was half open, and I saw a shrine of pictures of me. Apparently, he's been stalking me for months. FML

Going through his phone was wrong. Boom, out the way. Him taking pictures of your house, room, and especially naked sleeping body without your consent is wrong. This is not something you "talk out", you run. Escort him out, I wouldn't even confront him alone because you never know how he would react. People on here are more upset over the fact that you went through his phone than what was actually on his phone.

This is just so screwed up! OP, no way is it permissible to go through someone’s phone! And no way is it permissible to bug someone’s home and take pictures of them! OP - You now know your bedroom is bugged or you have a peeper and now know who he is. Get that taken care of! But the way you found out would probably be inadmissible legally so you have some limits on if you can press charges unless the police can find the hidden camera if there is one. I wish OP would update us on what she did next....

Contact police immediately and see about having him restricted from contacting you. Warn others about him. take the phone as evidence if you can and run the hell away from him. if you had sex go to a clinic ASAP because if he's doing something like that its likely he's a "stealther" and removed any protection you thought he was using. this is one FML where I'd really like an update stating if the OP is ok
