Today, I was supposed to get married but we had to postpone as the best man fled the country. With the marriage certificate and vendor money. Not to mention the rings. FML

This is my FML... yes I am married now and no the cops didn't catch him. The reason he was best man in the first place was due to family politics. We managed to have a small wedding shortly after but we still had to pay cost of cancellation.

That really sucks, but... you really postponed it over your best man who fled the country? Sorry, but I know on my wedding day, I will be very hesitant to stop for anyone (apart from the priest, my fiance, and me), let alone for someone who clearly shouldn't qualify as best man.

Considering that he took the marriage certificate, which they need in order to get married, I'd say that "not being able to legally get married" would be a good reason to postpone.

#105 She is post pony it because the best man took the wedding rings, vendor money and marriage certificate. If he hadn't she wouldn't of cared probably and continued with the wedding.
