Today, I was teaching a class, but the kids were all talking and chattering. After three soapbox-style speeches about how, "The next person who talks gets a note to take home," one kid looked right at me and went, "Meow." FML

that's what happens when you're all talk and no action. I liked the teachers that disciplined strictly more than the ones that would allow idiot classmates to do whatever they liked, personally.

On the first day of school, my teacher walked in, and stapled his tie onto his chest. He never had discipline problems with our class.

The thing is if a teacher is fun and nice, then the kids will respect them and not be rude. The kids who continue to be rude should get punished. Mean and annoying teachers won't get much respect and therefore kids don't care and will talk regardless. I really hate the strict teachers.
