did you yawn in his face? a good tip in life is to always cover your mouth when yawning, that way it's less disrespectful

drink cold liquids, take deep breaths when stopping a yawn. putting your finger on your tongue will immediately stop a yawn but it's not the most hygienic way while at work so try touching your tongue to the roof of your mouth. best of luck. I hope he was joking though :/
