Yeah I had a warrant out for my arrest, because I felled to show up to jury duty. My dad had a heart attack that night, and I obviously forgot I had it. Just explain the situation they will understand.

A bench warrant is not an arrest warrant those a 2 separate warrants. You just have to go to court an serve your jury duty. I work for the california courts

That happened to me on the 3 year anniversary of my mothers death I was pulled over for a tail light with my toddler in the car. I hadn't lived at that address in 2 years also. They made me wait to have someone come get my child to take me into custody. I was treated like crap until I got to the actual county I was suppose to be in. Good thing my Grammy was a well known person in my old town & that helped me out. It was thrown out. It was a small mistake. But what bothers me is they took me in with my child for something that even the police officer at the county I was sent to said was ridiculous. He said he would have just had me come in the next day. Oh well. It's over & nothing bad happened.

They take Jury Duty very seriously. Not only that, the boredom of Jury Duty will make you want to kill yourself. It is that f**king boring, especially if it's your first time...

Did you fill out a change in address form? If not things may keep going to your old address...

If you did everything you were supposed to do when you moved, like file a change of address form and update your voter registration, then FYL OP. But if you didn't, YDI.

I read this today, got home to find a Jury Notice in my mailbox, which was sent to my old address.At least USPS forwarded it to my current residency.still not excited about it.
