I know lots of people that purposely ignore those notices. Unless they're certified, there's no real way to prove you received them at all.
That sucks OP. Hopefully it all works out in your favor
They make very easy mistakes my younger cousin got called for jury duty once when she was only 13 my aunt soon called towm hall to explain their mistake and no trouble from them on you should go in and explain their mistake
go get a bond then turn yourself in. you prolly wont even get charged, the judge just wants some friends
Most counties go by your voter registration form so if you didn't update it, you are screwed.
Hey, this almost happened to me. The court sent a jury duty summons to my mother's house, in another county, for my maiden name, after I haven't lived there for five years. But it was still MY responsibility to call them and give them proof that I was married and lived in a different county, or I could have been arrested. It's horseshit.
Doesn't matter the government is closed!
How about you update your address like you are legally required to do so
That doesn't mean anything 35. You can update your address but people will still send crap to the old address.
The court system uses the address you have on file with the DMV, which you are required by law to update if you move within 30 days

If you can prove that you haven't lived there in 2 years maybe they can clear it up? It was just a misunderstanding after all.
Wow.........sounds like the state I live in
