Today, I was using a wooden toothpick to try to get at some food that was firmly lodged between my teeth. The toothpick broke and now I also have a splinter of wood jammed in there too. FML

False_Stupidity tells us more.

Tried floss but that didn't work. Ended up buying some plastic toothpicks and was able to eventually pry the food and splinter free. I think I'll be using plastic from now on after this experience.

Dental floss would've been a better choice.

Wooden you choose a less dangerous thing to use?

Screw floss or using another toothpick. There is one tool good enough for this tough job! A jackhammer.

yes, but there's a possibility that the power is out. i suggest a sculpting chisel.

I always thought the electric saw was a fantastic option as well.

Wouldn't the wood be protruding out due to the linear shape and thickness? You could get the wood part out easily.

Get some good extra strength dental floss.

Well hey, look on the bright side. At least it didnt slip and stab you. Hope you got it out fast. Pretty ironic that you got a toothpick stuck in your teeth.

I could have sworn that I've see this FML before. anyone else feel like its familiar ??

I hate when that happens! But next time just use dental floss, it's easier

Is there a none wooden toothpick out there?
