That was wrong of them, certainly morally wrong if not technically against their professional codes and credos. I thought they were supposed to wait for patients. Years ago, I had a temp job at an out-patient laboratory, and we always took patients after we were technically closed. Good grief, even if they were callous enough not to want to stay to treat you, they have some obligation (at least I think they do) to at least triage you to see if you need more care than they can provide or can be treated elsewhere and to determine if you have a communicable disease.
SIU---Suck It Up. You may have saved that woman's life. Even if she looked okay, something horribly wrong could have been going on inside of her and she'll be writing to post secret or GivesMeHope.com about a man who didn't feel so good himself, gave up his spot at the local clinic so she could get some help. Too bad that you seem to hate the fact that you did a good, gentlemanly thing.
Or she might'v just needed a prescription on coughdrops. That's how how the US fails, doctors should keep to the oath of Hippocrates; they should help a sick man in need no matter what.
well that sucks but there is nothing that can be done for a stomach virus anyway so at least u saved yourself some $ on the co-pay.
and people ask why Chivalry is dead -_- -Dave Chappelle "Chivalry IS DEAD... cuz women kill it"
Go to the ER when nothing else is open
That's why you hold it open from the inside. you stay in front of them

I'm a woman and I hold doors open for other people.... it has nothing to do with gender, people do it because its nice. Also, doctors can't do anything for viruses so they would have told you to get lots of rest, drink lots of fluids, etc. So really she saved you from paying for a doctor's visit needlessly ;)
the BRAT diet will bind your stools--bananas, rice, apples, and toast. Lots of fluids and get to the ER ASAP if you're dehydrated.
