Today, I was working the cash register. While helping a customer with her groceries, my bra snapped. I then had to ask my male boss if I could staple it back together. Thirty minutes later it snapped again. I then had to explain to my boss that I was too broke to buy a new one. FML

That's why sports bras are best for work. No chance of it snapping. And it's so much more comfy.

Walmart has decent bras for cheap. The elasticity doesn't hold up quite as long as more expensive ones, but it'll last you a few months while you save up for a good one.

Honestly, just steal a bra from Walmart if you're that bad off. Walmart is evil anyway

Yes, because stealing is obviously the answer. Why did I not think of that? *shakes head in despair*

Why did you have to ask your boss? If you needed help stapling it you should've asked a female co-worker. But I understand! I can relate

Seriously, didn't you know your bra was too small/ incorrectly fitting?? These same stories of girls' bras snapping is happening way too commonly. Additionally--- Are you really trying to say you only have ONE bra??? If you are of a strange extra large size that is difficult to find that may be one thing. But I mean, seriously-- who only has one bra?? Maybe if you're 13 and just starting puberty, idk. Money may be an issue for you-- but the one would get worn out/ nasty really quickly because I assume it'd be a pain to wash it every few days-- so you'd have to buy a new one sooner anyway than if you even had 2.

Err, the bra might have snapped because it was old and came undone...

Well, if that was the case (and not it being too small, yet we can't know unless OP responds..) it would be solved by having more than 1 bra regardless. If you have atleast 2 bras-- they'd each be worn less and each last longer, typically. I have several bras that are atleast 3 years old-- and in almost perfect shape despite tons of laundry washes, & they were really cheap from Target too. Sorry I wasn't that clear with my post.

so you have a job, but you don't have any money to buy a bra? wtf are you doing with your money flush it down the toilet?

Well it's sad to say but some people are so riddled with debts (especially in the USA after 8 years of Bush's catastrophic policies) that their own salary isn't enough to cover unplanned expenses, even the smallest ones. I imagine a cash register employee salary is not very high so yes it can happen without "flushing your money down the toilets."
