Those guys are jerks! You shouldn't care what they think of you. You're different and that's what sets you apart from your friends but hey that's not a bad thing. They just could not appreciate your beauty as it's different from your friends.

What if he meant that you are so pretty that they hang out with you to make themselves look better? It's a stupid way to say it, but that might be what he meant
