Today, I went in to work to check my new schedule for the week. I searched up and down and didn't see my name listed. After talking to my manager, he decided it would be easier to "release" me than remake a new schedule. FML

Clearly, you are one of the obnoxious people that asks the manager to change your schedule after it's been written almost every week because you can't be bothered to take off in advance. People do this all the time at my work, and eventually they are fired because of it. You really shouldn't have been surprised.

1 i live in delaware. a state where they may fire one for no legitimate reason. 2 I worked the same schedule for 5 months due to being in school as well. 3 my boss is a major douche

Well than FYL if you aren't like that. I have a lot of hatred as you can tell. All my cashiers are High Schoolers who are constantly whining about needing their schedules changed because they forgot to take off a day and got scheduled to work. I'm still a little bitter about all the call outs I had yesterday.

You can't "remake a new" schedule. You either make a new schedule or remake the existing schedule. You deserved to get fired if you were working somewhere that required you to have half a brain.

way to leave out the details, this reminds me of this girl who I used to work with, who would override prices without consent and would constantly procrastinate and talk crap about me, my coworkers and boss, and complained to the DSM about the manager. She found out about her dismissal the same way.

on it's legal and it sucks it's called "at will employment" means if your boss hates your shoes or haircut or banged you mom and now feels awkward seeing you, he can dismiss you from employment at anytime without reason. when you started you signed this paper most of the time it's the one with the smallest print

This isent legal at all it is in managment job discription to redo n e changes on the schedule n to let employees know that go to the labor board dude it's ur best bet
