My brother's fiancée lives with her ex. Not sure why, because my brother has his own place and her name isn't on her ex's lease.
Not if they signed a lease and can't get out of it, especially since it costs thousands of dollars to do so.
OP, was this by chance in northwest Iowa?
It happened in Sioux City. I met the guy on tinder since I'm still pretty new to the area. Believe me I ran as fast as possible. I haven't talked to him since.
So I really don't know the dynamics of their relationship. Sorry that I don't have all of the details. It was not a situation that I wanted to keep myself in for very long at all.
Oh my! I knew a couple that lived together and was "ex's" ,she ended it with him and they still stayed together in the same bed room, an she had another boy friend ,all while the poor dumb sucker she found never knew the ex lived with her still .
RUN.
I met my husband while living with my ex. We'd been broken up for over a year, but the rent was cheaper, so there we stayed. I moved back in with my mother until the wedding after we got engaged. That was 15 years ago and we're still married, so it's not all bad!

As someone who is currently living with my ex boyfriend, maybe I can provide some insight. My ex and I don't have enough money to afford to pay out our lease, so we have to live together until it's over and then go our separate ways. It's not easy by any means, but sometimes coming up with a deposit for a new place and paying out an old lease at the same time isn't feasible.
She probably wants him to pay her that $180 ticket.
