It's a bin with wheels on it. It's what councils give you to put the rubbish in. But I'm guessing you're American.
No need to be rude about it 15.
I don't think 15 means to be rude. I would also assume that Americans don't have the large plastic bins that other countries have (such as Australia, where I live). Again, I don't think they're calling Americans stupid by that statement.
How is it so hard to work that out? Yes it is a bin with wheels. Usually they are big rectangles and there are now ones for garden waste, household waste and recycling. Woohoo!
Wheelie bin sounds nicer than garbage bin.
#13 - A wheelie bin is a bin with wheels. Specifically, it's a bin that goes on the pavement to put rubbish in for the rubbish collectors. Wait... Specifically, it's a trash can that goes on the sidewalk to put trash in for the garbage pickup. Y'all.
#74, "y'all"? Really...? I'm American, and I've never actually heard someone say "y'all" in person. You mad Brits... you're mental, you are. Lassies.
Hey, now.. Y'all be nice. :)
88- Apparently you've never been in the South.
And what's so bad about being a citizen in the most powerful country in the world? Nothing.
119- you from china???
See, but Americans do have wheelie bins... or, at least they do in my town, anyway.
Maybe you live in America but obviously not in the south. You should probably actually visit America before making comments on what is not being said in America. Or just keep making ignorant comments
Since you're all slagging me off, I'll explain. I was simply saying they're American because I know they call them garbage cans. I was using the statement as a way of half forgiving them for not knowing what it was. It wasn't a great comment as my wording tends to suffer at half past 11 at night. Sorry for making you waste all your comments
We generally call them "trash bins" or something similar, 15. I'd like to think it makes sense.
Same thing I was wondering
Wow, people, way to miss the point. Of course I'm from the north, and I'm aware that people in the south say "y'all," I'm just saying it's a regional thing, not a national thing. So including "y'all" in his comment would only make sense if he were referring to the south, just as "lassies" only makes sense if I'm referring to Scotland, not all of Britain. And you people ruin it by needing an explanation. smh
#95- You're from Arkansas, so of course you'd hear "y'all" a lot. Have you ever been to the Northeast?
Why did 15's answer get down-voted when it's the truth?
Canada and America calls it a garbage bin. I like the sound of "rubbish" though!
y'all isn't slang anymore
Haha followed by a couple of kids chasing it by any chance?
And someone watching at a window saying "oh my god trampoline, look oh my god trampoline"
You're lucky. All the trampolines around where I live are jerks. At least this one was nice enough to help you out
At least you didn't have a cannonball smash through your house courtesy of the Mythbusters team.
I read about that in the news!
The Lord works in mysterious ways.
