nice try... first of all, i doubt food poisoning symptoms would show up that soon unless the food was OBVIOUSLY undercooked or something and second of all no hospital would charge NEARLY that much for food poisoning.
Totally fake. I've had salmonella - from the same place, in fact! It takes quite a few hours to set in (#240, it can take as little as 7 hours, actually, though there are other kinds that take longer for sure), but you don't need to be hospitalized for it or given IV fluids, etc. You just vomit a whole lot, for four or five days.
Also, #215: I can list at least three educational hospital websites that list it as at least 4-36 hours generally. As well as the Doctor's Home Remedy Book. Healthline.com . . . I can go on.
Welcome to the United States medical system. In Canada it cost me just over $150 when I had food poisoning. I spent two days in the hospital. No where close to $24000
And this is why I live in Ontario bittchhessss!
you should just sue the bastards
i dont believe you 24k for something not overnight and doesnt really require anything from the hospital besides saline solution
Get some health insurance my friend!! there is only a a co-pay, and you pay maybe 100 bucks a month, or if you qualify for government insurance like I do, (college student with no parents and a part time job) its free!!
