Today I went to get my usual once a week $5 coffee. I got mixed up in one of those pay it forward trains, where the car infront pays for the car in back. So since the car infront bought my coffee, I paid for the car behind me. I got home only to realize the order was over $30. FML

Best thing to do in that would be to set it up so that you pay a set dollar amount not to exceed that instead of just trusting the other person to take advantage of you. Sorry you ran into one of THOSE people, OP. Hoping it will come back to you doubled.
