Today, I went to school prepared to speak in front of a whole bunch of kids and talk about how great my middle school is. I spent an hour on the speech and took the 45 minute drive there. Turns out the coordinator of the school only called me in to pass out brochures. FML

I wrote this before I made an account. I just wanted to say that I wasn't detailed enough. She told me we were speaking. I no I didn't misunderstand because there were other girls and they made notecards. anyway thank you for the responses to my FML and btw, for whoever asked up above, yah I go to a gifted kids middle school :) thank you !!

I hated Junior High/Middle School. I do remember that's when you found out who you were and formed your click groups. Jocks, rockers/ stoners, computer nerds, drama club, surfers, etc.... You no longer were all friends like you were in elementary school.

So you're upset because you agreed to do something without really ever checking to see exactly what it was that you were supposed to be doing? It's middle school, why are you recruiting in the first place?

to answer concerns, I was promoting a magnet middle school. and haha you get the point, got my family to drive me to the 45 min. Not to be rude but... seriously, I'm not stupid I no what I was doing. Read my first comment please. Again, thank you for following my FML :)!

okay....the point is I was not being stupid about it. I knew what she said, which is all I could know. I already explained how I knew, because EVERYONE made notecards for it so the point is fml because I got completely lied to by my own coordinater of a school that I was supposed to talk good about. I'm sorry don't mean to be rude, but I just don't want you to keep on making me out to be a moron. I was stupid for believing her, but not because I'm a big huge moron. Well, thanks for reading my FML and please don't think I mean to insult u. Best wishes :)
