AceGeek tells us more.
It was a midnight showing of Captain America. I was not going to bitch them out, because I am not absolutely rude. I was trying to show respect for mothers that have to take care of a child. I am just disappointed that I could not hear the dialogue. Yes, I did get a refund after I explained the situation, and I am going to go see it tomorrow. Hope that clears it up.

god damit that is so infuriating if you can't control your kids don't bring them to the movies and ruin it for all the other PAYING movie watchers. I hope you walked up to the ladies and gave them a peice of your mind.
And just flat out bad parents. They probably scarred their babies for life!!
Even if the OP complained to the staff he would of missed parts of the movie to do so. Sucks either way. I don't understand why parents would do that. The parents even wasted their own money. This is one of many reasons why I haven't gone to the theatre in over a year. No inconsiderate assholes in my home. And I can pause if I need to piss.
23 - front seats suck though
I feel your pain, when I saw Transformers Revenge of the Fallen at the movies, I had the unfortunate experience of sitting next to a 10 year old who was reciting the movie word for word and would not, for love of God, shut the **** up and when I asked his Grandfather to "please get control of his Grandson because this is my first time seeing it" he laughed, said "Kids will be kids", and went back to watching the movie. With nowhere else to sit, what did I do you ask? Officially pissed, I knocked the kids gummy worms out of his hand and told his Grandfather "Kids will be kids" Mature? not so much Effective? Hell yeah
Dude....you're my hero.
XD Win!
40 - that is extreme win. i rarely ever go to the theaters but when i go on a bus or some public place, i always wanted to do something like that
when this happens to me I get so annoyed I tell them to please quiet their baby. and when they ignore me I imitate the babies crying.
Parents, please enlighten me, what is the point of bringing a very small child to a movie? I never understood that. Personally, I would have left within a timely manner and asked politely for another showtime. Typically they will issue a refund or allow a new showtime if you're having problems within the first 10 minutes of the movie.

I will never understand why people think it's a good idea to bring a baby into the movies.
I would have said SHUT YOUR DAMN CHILDS MOUTH -_-
