Today, I went to the dentist. I had to get a tooth removed. In the middle of the procedure, the power went out. I had to sit there for an hour to wait for it to come back on. The anesthetic wore off before he started working on me again. FML

To tell the tooth, the dentist should probably brush up on proper procedure, since he should have known the anesthesia would wear off. He should definitely know the drill by now.

well #1 usually you cant have too much anesthetic injected into your mouth or it will damage your muscles or something and #2 anesthetic is expensive. lol

actually they can use more.. I've worked in a dental office they have used up to 4 different methoods of freezing to get it to work.. it's obvious that you can't have to much because you can't have to much of anything.. but initally the dentist would have used only 1 and 1/2 injections therefore yes they could have asked for more

Sounds like a lie to me. But if this did happen YDI. Why didn't you just tell him to use more anesthetic? That was pretty stupid. When I go to the dentist, if I can feel pain.....I let him know and he gives more anesthetic.
