To everyone who claims "if it was a baby tooth they wouldn't have pulled it": wrong. Dentists do not hesitate to pull baby teeth if it's necessary. When I was younger I had a few baby teeth that had to be pulled. One was loose and its filling fell out, causing the entire tooth to break in half (but not fall out). With another, the tooth had broken when it became loose and most of the tooth fell out except for a little bit which the gum had grown onto, meaning that although the tooth was no longer attached by roots, it was still attached by a piece of gum. The gum had to be ripped to get the piece of tooth off (hurt more than the other tooth that had to be pulled). Also, significant decay will mean the tooth is in permanent pain. They would pull it rather than just leave it. Anyway, in regards to OP, this confuses me. 1) Wouldn't you know if you'd already lost the baby tooth in that position? 2) Didn't your dentist take any x-rays to determine the extent of the damage? Not really sure whether to say YDI or FYL here. YDI if you're slack with dental care. On the other hand, you might take a lot of care with your teeth and STILL have problems - I know I often do - so that could be FYL.
my toothbrush cost £1, toothpaste about £3, floss about £1, mouthwash...£4 I think. £9 to complete oral health! Wouldn't the dentist have been able to tell if it was a baby toot or not once they tried to pull it? shouldn't baby teeth be much easier to pull because their roots aren't as deep?
big ******* deal OP. i had 6 permanent teeth removed all at the same time. 1 tooth isnt bad AT ALL. and dont mind the stupid brits. They're just butt hurt that they got raped in the Revolutionary War and how we had to save their asses in every war. and dont even start talking shit about our "greasy american fast food", i bet all you ******* pricks eat McDonalds all the time.
Seeing as we have lost so many of our young soldiers, while saving your arse in Iraq. Maybe you shouldn't bring that one up over a simple FML of rotting teeth.
wtf does the revolutionary war have to do with anything?? it was about 100 years ago! in fact, i have no idea how long ago it was, because it is that irrelevant
Doesnt suck that much... Look at the brighter side.. You can sue him big time! :)
wow with all the stereotyping of the british yeah sure some british have bad oral health, but not all. Its like saying All americans are overweight. SOME are, but not all. WOW and ******* retarded stereotypers i bet have never been to britian. And you wonder why Alot of people hate America
:-) my point exactly. This is why i prefer Canada ;-)
Please do not base your opinion of all Americans on a couple of idiots. :D I may be patriotic, but I enjoy other cultures/countries. Chances are, the people being so nasty have never even left their own state. I have a theory! I think that the reason other countries hate Americans so much is because we like to go into foreign speaking countries and just EXPECT them to speak our language. Americans don't even bother to TRY to speak the language. When I went to France/Italy, I at least attempted to speak the language, and not one person treated me badly. Also, my favorite ex and one of my good friends are over in London. I enjoyed it there, immensely. Well, except for the cold! My ex just knew I couldn't ever move, lol.
Its ok, i'm not generalizing the American population. Its just the ignorant arses in here who like to stereotype us. But its fine, because i know that they are the lazy, fat arsed Americans who we come to know and love here in Britain. I personally love America, but i have to say, i definatly prefer Canadian people. I think the problem is, that we are so different as a culture. We go about things differently. We clash :-) To be honest, even if the commenters were British i'd still dislike them. People who have nothing better to do with their time then bad mouth other nationalities just because they are bitter for never leaving their living room. Twats.
I just figure most of them are rednecks from the south where they, "keep it in the family." They're also force fed crap about how horrid other nations are. When you're scraping the bottom of the gene pool, you can't expect much ;) lol
that happened to me once and my parents wouldn't sue. when I went back for a check up the dentist was like "how come you don't have a tooth there?" FML
