Today, I went to the movies with the guy I have been in love with for a long time. I laid my head on his shoulder and he held my hand throughout the movie. Afterwards he asked me for advice on the girl he likes. Apparently she isn't talking to him anymore. FML

OP Here- I love you people, speculating on people's lives like you know something. This is really old now, but I figured I'd give an update. We got together the following February, and are very happy where we're at now. C: So thanks ya'll for the input, though most of it was unnecessary. I know what love is, do you?

I agree 15, OP doesn't know the first thing about love. If you haven't been dating someone, it isn't love, it'd adoration and stalker behavior. People don't know what love is obviously since they just toss the word around like they know.

I simultaneously agree and disagree with you, #18. I don't think you need to be dating someone to be in love with them. Tragically enough, this happens sometimes. However in this instance I'd imagine that this girl is not in love with this guy - she is likely infatuated with him.

i disagree that you have to be dating someone to love them. I have a family friend that i have known for 11 years and i would do anything for him and drop anyone if he ever told me he wanted to be with me. however, i don't think that the OP is in that kind of situation and yes, is probably over exaggerating when she says she is in love, as most youth do.

Today, I had the most uncomfortable feeling in my socks, but I didn't care to check. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that the feeling was a small thin piece of glass that was slowly cutting away at the bottom of my foot. I still don't know how it got there. FML

Today, we discovered that our wedding licence from 7 years ago is a complete fake. I don’t get it: we were married in a church by a priest, we got all our paperwork filed with the city council, but our certificate is apparently a fake someone made on a computer, and they got the date wrong. FML

Today, my mother was digging up our Halloween decorations, and found the Christmas decorations as well. She's shoddily decorated the house already in half-Halloween and half-Christmas style to save time. I guess we'll be celebrating Christmasween for the rest of the year. FML
