Women can be buddies too.

FIRST!!!
thats ruuude, your step parents are mega douchy
yeah lol thanks im french ;)
Well seeing as you got engaged before meeting his parents i'm assuming you hadn't been dating for very long. So it's quite possible that it wasn't anything against you, The "Are you sure" could of meant "Are you sure you want to get married, you haven't been dating long"
Not necessarily. For example, I met my husband in another country and we lived together for a while. We decided to get married and I only met his parents afterwards, so they also reacted with distrust initially, even though we'd been dating for a while. Maybe the OP's case is the same. Parents tend to be all paranoid of any fiance(e) they haven't met beforehand.
i agree. they want you to knwo that this is the one you wanna spend the rest of ur life with
If you go through with the marriage, you might want to live a few states away from those douchebags. I'd say five, at the least.
or maybe a different continent?
her boyfriend's parents dont think its a good idea that he wants to marry her and you're slightly retarded
i agree, you're retarded
@#12 Are you serious?? :} Yep, you are retarded.
#16, slightly? Quit being nice and say #12's a dumbarse.
Could have meant "Are you sure you want to get married now?" or something.
