Today, I work in a grocery store and a woman suffering from diarrhea somehow managed to get shit up and down two of the store aisles, then go to the ladies room and mess up the stall. I was the only one working trained in deal with bio-hazardous waste so I had to clean it up. FML

Ugh....I had this happen with someones kid when I was working in a childrens clothing store. The kid told the mom for 30 minutes that she had to go potty, and the mom ignored her. She left a trail of diarrhea all over our store. I had to clean it up because I was 17 at the time, and the only one working who wasn't a manager. Gross. People are disgusting and rude. I'm sorry you had to deal with this!!

ugh that's disgusting, i understand it can be hard to hold explosive diarrhea in, but honestly at the first sign of pain down there you should probably skidaddle to a bathroom ASAP. sorry you had to deal with that :(

This is why you don't sign up for any optional training unless you actually want it. Where I work, confined space training is optional, if you don't want it you don't need to take it (after all, some people don't like enclosed spaces). While most confined spaces on my job site are fine, there's a few where you'll be up to your waist in water, mud and coal, not exactly pleasant, but if you dont have confined space training, you never have to deal with it.

See I work in retail, and specifically I work in the photo department so I am bio-hazard trained, but if someone EVER asked me to clean up any human waste and wouldn't take "I will throw up everywhere" as a no I would quit on the spot. I don't get paid enough to deal with that. I was asked twice when I was doing a bathroom check and someone had decided to go to the bathroom on the seat, both managers I dealt with were fine with me telling them I couldn't stomach it. People are filthy though, if I'd seen that bitch doing it I'd of gone off on her ass and wouldn't give a damn if I lost my job over it. People who behave like children will be treated like children.

I am so sorry. One day I walked into Subway, where I used to work, through the back entrance, knowing I was on bathroom duty that shift. I found out that a homeless man who often came in had not only gotten poop all over the bathroom floor, toilet seat, and so forth, but also along the floor of the restaurant leading to the bathroom and under his table. I was literally on the verge of tears when I found out that my manager had cleaned it up already... THANK GOD.

bitch, you shouda gobbled that shit up. it tastes like carrots usually..or old oats. and who says it was shit? coulda been some intestinal leakage. had me a bad case of that last week. messy as a shit covered hell. smelled like a shit covered hell too. and honesly the best method for shit like that is a snow plow that just picks it up and flings it at the cereal on the shelves to the right. BITCH
