*gags a little* that's pretty gross. May wanna check your food out with their expiry dates n such.
Expiry dates give no bearing on if there are insects inside. The maggot likely grew on the date and was therefore there before it would have expired.
There are certain fruits I *always* cut in half to check for maggots: dates, cherries, plums, sweet chestnut and the like. The maggots grow from eggs that are planted there by moths while the fruits are still on the trees. So them being there has nothing to do with the expiration date.
Maggots can't read expiry dates!
The monkey from Indiana jones should have warned you...
It's just double packed with fiber!
I once ate half a bowl of cream of wheat only to realize the bowl had been filled with larvae eggs. I feel your pain.
This was similar to my FML that was rejected:/
At least it wasn't half of a large, squirming maggot. :D Too soon? Well, I admire the health conscious effort, regardless.
Well that's better than biting into it and having a huge sack of baby spiders open and spill into your mouth as they crawl around everywhere.... Your welcome
At least it wasn't filled with a giant spider sack and thousands of spider babies flood into your mouth..... Your welcome
