thats cuz you bought him a PS2, and for being so selfish that you feel you deserve something. 1 year dating is not a milestone. Its just a year. Its not like yall are married.
mannn that does suck. but i guess you shouldn't really expect anything from if you are in love but i'd think that if he loved you he'd at least have spent the day with you!
I don't really know why you should care so much. I mean, there are some guys who actually do count every single day (my friend still knows the exact number of years months and days that he dated his ex, not creepy, he just remembers it) but most guys don't. Some guys really just have very, very, very bad memories, I get to date a girl after having a crush on her for a year and a month later I can't remember the exact day that we started dating. It's not like I didn't care, I just didn't remember, if you get a guy with a photographic memory, good for you, if you don't, then don't be super PO'd when it slips their mind.
*sigh* i've given up on love for now...i get dumped by text every time after at least 2 months
I agree with #1 and #3, there could be different definitions of where to start counting for anniversaries, eg first kiss, first date, wen u first decided u were a couple, watevs. if u hadn't discussed it, don't be disappointed by something you haven't said aloud and assume him to know. If you had, again you still have no right to complain about something you expected without saying that you were expecting it. Don’t assume someone can read ALL your mind’s expectations.
My boyfriend counts it by the month and every 24th he is like HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Then we hang out with each other for the day. Its been over two years and our first year we buy a Ps2 or anything, hell I can't remember what we give each other anymore because gifts are sweet but not the most important thing ever. I barely remember what I gave him for valentines day =3
YDI for not saying HAppy Anniversary right after u gave it to him trigering his memory and making him feel like shit.

Wow, not even a 'thankyou'. That's pretty bad.
My brother's girlfriend bought him a PS2 last year... because he wanted one. not everyone wants things that are the top of the range, he wanted to play the old games because he enjoyed them.
