Today, it's been a full week since my last orthodontist appointment and I still can't eat anything besides Slimfast and pudding. FML

YDI for eating slimfast when a milkshake is a much better alternative, and eating pudding when yogurt is a much better alternative.

a shitty tasting milkshake that most often tastes like the can if it is in one

I feel like a couple nice cold beers would be the perfect solution, eat what you want after that

Been there done that. Drink soup with a straw (if you can't open your mouth) Eat everything mashed don't worry about the meat just try to replace it with similiar products until you can switch back. Besides I highly doubt that's all you eat, even if you get really sick (like me sometimes) after an appointment. Best of lucks

maybe op doesn't want to get fat with all of the smoothies so he drinks slim fast?

why is everyone guessing braces? what about wisdom teeth o.o

because everyone else isn't stupid and know that orthodontists don't take wisdom teeth out. o.o

lol thank you i almosted said it

It usually takes about a week or more for the pain to pass (well for my braces anyway) and there's ALOT more food you can eat/drink, porridge, tea, soup, ice cream, yogurt, milkshakes, rice etc. Or even just cut up some food to make them easier to eat! Slim fast and yogurt are the only options

try some mac n cheese, butt head. that's all I'd eat for like, a week straight after I got my braces tightened each time, haha. there's plenty of other soft foods out there, too.
