Just a few generations ago, when infant mortality was common, some people would recycle names repeatedly (such as my family). Not just after miscarriages, but those of dead children who had personalities and could speak. Is Hana Grace a member of your family, or why do both you and your sister like the name so much? The consternation and anger here does not transcend time, and is not a universal issue.

That is completely inconsiderate and cruel of your sister. I am so sorry for your loss OP, I can't imagine how much you are hurting. Definitely sit down with your sister and have a talk with her. First off I wanna say that Im sorry for your loss and I hope that you have a quick recovery. Second, if I were you I would get a dog and name it after your sister, for the bitch she is, but that's just me.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I think and hope that your sister will reconsider another name for her baby girl because if she has any kind of heart and conscious and care about you she will do the right thing. Depending on the type of person she is she won't feel good or really have any peace within. When you have a baby you want to be able to feel happy with everything while watching your baby grow up.
