I lost a baby as well and I would be livid if someone stole her name we gave her. I'm not a violent person but it would take everything in me not to knock someone out for that. I'm so sorry for your loss and having to deal with your inconsiderate sister

OP, I'm so very sorry for your loss of your angel. Based on the wording, your sister is a horrible person and not sisterly at all. A loving sister would ask beforehand and want the name to honor your angel rather than take it because the name is "up for grabs". I only hope that your family can stand by you and that your niece will eventually come to feel that her name is in tribute as opposed to any malice. That's if she does end up being named Hana Grace.
