Wait until the baby comes. Your sanity and finances will be ruined, too! Yay!
There are pregnancy crisis counselors, find one.
Sometimes the reality doesn’t match your expectations. That’s not really anybody’s fault, it just sucks for everybody. Try to support her as much as possible anyway, and maybe consider consulting a pregnancy crisis counselor. You can’t change what happened, but you can change how you handle it going forward.
sounds like your wife's hormonal issues maybe causing depression and she will most likely have postpartum time to talk to a specialist and get help
Get your wife help and stop making it about you.
I’m definitely on board with several others. My wife has experienced this as well when we lost our kids-to-be, and it sucks. But try to encourage your wife to at least a telehealth counselor as she needs some help. It’s ok to ask for help, and let her know that. She may not be able to be put on meds (wouldn’t recommend while pregnant) but my mom even told me she freaked out while pregnant as hormones upset everything and she collapsed in a ball crying. It doesn’t take a delivery for those symptoms to hit, and as a person who has had crippling depression, it can feel lonely and painful, even when surrounded by your best of friends and family. Get to this before it gets worse! You can potentially lose both, and then you’ll have wished you did something before that happened!
