Wow I was really surprised to be published, it made my day a bit better. I held off on commenting until I knew more about my issue. I actually went to the doctor two days after this got published. The doctor said it had happened because I had missed like 3 pills(birth control) in one month. The period continued for 3 months with 2-4 day breaks in between. I'm glad to say it's back to normal and on a regular cycle. (I'm 15)

um maybe you should get that checked. because that's not okay.
I know people who have gotten it for a month
You really need to go to the doctor
Sorry to hear that OP. My girlfriend once had her's for 23 days after being late 2 months. After some research and a non-professional chat with my friend's dad who is a doctor, it seems to be an uncommon although normal thing especially if there's a change in active ness and diet.
God, everyone is saying they have like 4 month periods. I have mine 4 days, every three weeks. That's terrible.
usually they only last just the normal 7 days for me. if you're having one at abnormally long times, go see a doctor
Oh that's awful!
Jesus, go see a doctor! You could have a hemorrhage..
I've had my period for two years straight. Not even a break for one day. Suck it the **** up.
From your comment, it sounds more like perpetual PMS.
She shouldn't have to suffer periods that could lead to having more problems or even dying just because you had periods that lasted longer and did/could do nothing about it.
I'm just tired of people complaining. It is a little over two weeks. She's not going to die. Her poor little tummy will hurt and she'll have to spend a little extra cash on pads. Whoopdi do. This isn't an 'FML.'
