Today, I attempted to assemble a piece of furniture that claimed to be "easy to build in minutes." Four hours and multiple arguments later, I realized I had misread the instructions, and half the parts were upside down. I'm pretty sure the furniture won this round. FML

Today, we spent hours decorating the Christmas tree, perfectly balancing the lights, ornaments, and tinsel. Ten minutes later, the cat thought it was a right time to reenact Die Hard and climbed up the tree, knocking it over. Now my ornaments are shattered, and my cat is smugly sitting in the wreckage. FML

Cats are a pain in the ass. Especially male cats which I'm guessing this one is. Christmas of 2011 my brother's cat managed to flood the ENTIRE downstairs area which could have caused serious mold problems, not to mention cost a fortune to repair. Fortunately everything was ok and we didn't need to replace anything, but cats are the worst :(
