Today, it was my first day at my new job, which requires you to wear a special shirt. Come to find out, they only have medium sized shirts. I'm an XL. They demanded I wear the shirt anyway. FML

Just because he wears an XL shirt does not in any way mean the guy is fat. He could have broad shoulders or muscular arms. Or maybe just be fit and like the extra room. Most built guys where L or XL shirts and even if he had a tummy so what. A medium is too small for most guys to be wearing anyway.

Pssht, you should have "worn" it on one arm, or as a bandana, or something like that. Just in case their store policy isn't specific enough for that eventuality, which is a good possibility.

Here's a ******* hint, people: DIFFERENT STANDARDS. A medium from one store/manufacturer is not the same size as a medium from another store/manufacturer. My dad likes to wear small t-shirts, and I recently found him a large that fit him quite well. The discrepancy is probably even greater between states, countries and continents.

they can't make you wear something that's embarrassing. you could sue

They aren't making him do anything. They are telling him that he can either wear the shirt that everyone else wears or leave. No one is forcing him to work there and the company is not making him do anything different than the other employees.. I'm so sick of people these days always jumping to "Sue, sue, sue!!" If he doens't like it he can leave, if he needs the money then he will stay end of story.

#42, I am 5'11" and 160 pounds as well and there is no way I could fit into a small shirt So unless you like your t-shirts not going past your nipples, you must be lying

This should be motivation to lose some weight Fat ass

That's what you get for being obese :)

look...my dad wears XL and he's not fat at all. it's muscle...so anyone that automatically thinks this guy is fat is a ******.

Wow, I'm nearing an XL size, and I'm low on my weight index chart compared to my height (6'6"). You can be XXXL and not be fat, just built like hell. For those of you saying, he should wear a M shirt when he's XL, it would either be like a spandex tummy teaser, or rip like one of hulk hogan's tank tops.
