Today, my 18 year-old daughter comes home, telling me she has been fired from her job at McDonalds. The reason? They had iCarly Happy Meal toys and she couldn't resist stealing one. FML

1) Where does it say the OP is 18? She could still be in high school 2) Even if the OP is out of high school, she could either be working part time while still at school, or be working to get money for school.

you still work while going to school or college. I've been working sence I was 15 and now in college and still working. any many many high schoolers work at icky mickys

You steal and you get caught, you get fired. Easy as that. Doesn't matter what you stole. stealing is against the law and this is what happens. And really, who steals happy meal toys? That's pretty lame. YDI to the daughter, and I'll extend that to the mother for not teaching her proper the ethics and morals to survive in our society.
