Not sure if anyone mentioned, didnt feel like reading all of the above, but you can claim the stolen money and phone with Worker's comp, (and if you were injured and needed any medical treatment) since you were only at the store at the request of your manager. I dont mean sue their ass off, just that you can, at the very least, be reimbursed for your phone and medical bills. I am a Worker's comp adjuster. :)
