He's probably the kind of guy who pretends a break up didn't just happen either. ?
If you want out of the job that much, just stop showing up according to what your resignation said. If your boss can disregard your intentions to leave, you can disregard their denial.
Can they do that?
I had the same with my boss. He wanted me out, but once I consulted my union because I did nothing wrong, he acted like he just wanted to 'motivate' me to do better next time.
"I want to Hand in my resignation letter" Boss: "Nah" "What?" "nah, well back to work or I'll promote you!" "But, But...."
It's illegal to refuse a resignation in Belgium. Your union or lawyer can help you for free.
Was it emailed or paper copy? I would email him and copy someone else. Then on my last day I'd leave and not come back.

I know it's probably a mistake... but I laughed when I saw this was under "intimacy" instead of "work."
You should talk to HR about it and make sure you make a paper trail.
