Today, my boss sent me some application forms to check over. After I spell-checked them and returned them, I found out they're going to be used to hire someone to replace me. FML

I agree, The only thing that makes this fml a bit better is that he knows it's coming and can start looking for a new job. It's still horrible, but OP may have time to find a new job before he gets fired.

The OP may not be getting fired. The OP could be getting a promotion, the company is expanding or OP may be overworked and is getting an assistant. I could see another FML come out of this if OP jumps to a conclusion and quits: "Today I thought I was going to get fired so I quit. Turned out I was getting a promotion. FML"

Should of read them over first, so you could refuse to fill them out. You were getting fired anyway, should of made it harder on your boss. It was his dick move to begin with.
